History

Built in 1827-1829 Parish of Norwood takes its name from the Great North Wood.
Many Historical Figures lead to the outstanding interest of this Church.
Charles Dickens who mentioned All Saints in his book David Copperfield.
Camille Pissarro famous impressionist painter.
Vice-Admiral Robert Fitzroy buried at All Saints who sailed with Charles Darwin to the the Galapagos Islands and founded the modern barometer.
Felix Mendelssohn who stayed in the area and played on the organ here.
