Open House Festival is a huge annual celebration of London’s neighbourhoods, and the people and communities behind them. During the festival, hundreds of sites across all 33 London boroughs open to the public for tours, events and open days so that everyone can explore and learn about them.
Open House Festival would not be possible without the amazing community of volunteers who help steward the festival. 97% of our volunteers say they would recommend it to a friend as it’s such a rewarding experience filled with opportunities to learn about London’s architecture and heritage, and meet like-minded people.
As an Open House Festival volunteer you will get to know one or more of the amazing sites in the festival programme; meet new people; develop skills in stewarding and enjoy a fun day or evening out in a stunning London location. You will also get priority entry to many buildings across the wider festival programme.

“Volunteering at Open City has given me the opportunity to delve into London’s architecture along with the people and community groups that add to its landscape.”
