No Car parking at the Observatory, please park in Hayes Lane.
Designed in the 1960s with regret the domes are not wheelchair accessible. We do not have toilets.
The observatory is next to a horse farm, so some animal smells are possible, but the area is quiet with only hints of traffic noise.
14:00–16:00
An open day at the Norman Fisher Observatory.
Welcome to the Observatory of the Croydon Astronomical Society.
Since 1979 we have welcomed visitors to the Observatory every clear Saturday night to view the night sky. A moderately dark sky, when at its best we can see the Milky Way.
Today we open in daylight so visitors can see a little more of the buildings and site and hear about our history and what we now do here.
