Petts Wood - a guided walk led by members of the Petts Wood & District Residents‘ Association. Basil Scruby developed the town in the 1920/30s as a Garden Suburb. The walk covers examples of original Tudorbethan style houses, Conservation areas - Station Square includes visiting the Daylight Inn (architect Sidney C Clark) and notable residents. A two hour event covering approximately two miles.

History

This guided walk of the London Suburb of Bromley aims to offer an overview a history of the area initiated by Basil Scruby in 1920/1930's.

The walk will start at Station Square, Petts Wood and will be a gentle walk for approximately one & half hours. We shall conclude at The Daylight Inn function room where we will offer tea and coffee plus availability of toilets.
