The City of London is the oldest part of London, built by Romans nearly 2000 years ago. Over the centuries its trading guilds -Livery Companies - shaped the area making it home to many trades. Nowadays it is known as the one of the most important financial centres in the world with a unique history and heritage.

The tour takes place in the early morning, starting at 6.30 am when the market is still open (it shuts at 7.00am). Part of the walk is outside. Please dress appropriately and wear sensible footwear.
You will be able to buy meat in the market and if this is something you may want to do please bring cash and card and a bag.
