Join us in a two-part event at the Royal Institute of British Architects. Unpeel and reveal invisible layers at the RIBA and the architecture industry as a whole. The first part of the event comprises a building tour, and a polaroid camera, collage workshop. You will reshape and remould the narrative at the RIBA responding specifically at the more contentious parts of the building that represent the colonial past of architecture as a discipline. Please bring pictures that represent your experiences, your culture and movements you feel strongly about. Don’t worry if you can’t.
The second part is an interdisciplinary panel discussion with key guests; Arinjoy Sen, Nabil Al-Kinani and Mo Khizr. Hilda and Isata from our team will also be on the panel, chaired by Bareera. To attend both you must have a ticket for each part.
This event is part of Open House Festival's City Curators programme.
