Since 2019, our business has been proudly operating from our workshop located in the heart of Norwood, South East London. Over the years, this location has become the home for our fabrication and business operations. Conveniently situated in one of London’s vibrant and diverse areas, our workshop serves as the central hub for our innovative work, enabling us to provide high-quality sets.

We are located an 8 minute walk from Norwood junction station which is on the Windrush Line and also is 1 stop from London bridge.
It is an operating workshop space with other companies in the lot. There may be use of power tools and machinery.

The Fables Creative warehouse finds itself in the middle of a tucked away Norwood Junction industrial yard, a hub for metalworkers and mechanics. The building itself; formerly an ambulance Depot in the 1950s is a spacious brick construction with the high ceilings necessary for the large scale works of the Fables team. Shortly after moving in the Fables began internal renovations creating a mezzanine floor, internal offices and storage rooms clad in minimalist aesthetic from up-cycled birch panelling left over from a previous advert install. The workshop has been a continously growing space, now featuring a spraying room for paint and lacquer, CNC facilities and a clean burning wood furnace supplied by EU green grant funding (believe it or not this way of dealing with wood waste is far more carbon efficient than sending to landfill). It is a space that looks different every day due to the wildly varied projects that are taken on daily by Fables.

First opened in 1903, Stanley Arts continues its building's legacy as a beacon for the local community. This Grade II listed Edwardian theatre, gallery, and public hall reflects its founder's interest in the arts and sciences. The historic features of the building are sometimes hidden, other times flaunted. Our Open House tours cover everything past and present about this storied institution.
