Hiding a new house

Outside it’s an Arts & Crafts coach house with a steep tiled roof to blend in to the conservation area setting and optimise daylight on a confined backland site. Inside we’re building a new 3 bedroom low energy house with spacious double height open plan living. Expected to be at final decorations stage for September.

The original Grade II listed house was a former Georgian villa. 3 extensions were added through the Victorian period reflecting the style of the era. Subsequent additions reflect medical practices. An archivist will be giving free tours.
