About

About the walk

The walk will follow mostly paths and pavements along the Thames, through local parks and urban sites and scenes well known to Turner who lived in the area as a child and later rented accommodation in order to be able to paint Thames side scenes that he knew and loved. There are some steps and uneven surfaces but it is mostly gentle walking conditions and close to rail and bus transport.
