About

Celebrating 100 Years of Ashburton Park

Join us at Ashburton Park to hear more about this fascinating heritage building dating to the 1860s and our 3-yr restoration project funded by the Heritage Fund.

Visitors will be able to discover more about the park’s past, from its origins as the grounds of a grand estate, orphanage and hospital to its transformation into a park, library & public space at the heart of the local community.

There will be an opportunity to learn about the development of the park over the decades and opportunities to hear how we are embedding heritage within our restoration project (2025-2028).
