Mycenae House along with its illustrious neighbouring house has a unique and interesting history. Much of its time as a closed convent was shrouded in mystery but after many years of research and snuffling around, several local historians have pieced together the story which we think is mostly accurate. There is also a few sadly inaccurate but intriguing stories which are well worth sharing.
