This free tour gives you direct access to a live site: material storage and processing, workshops, training spaces and demonstrator projects, all part of an ongoing experiment in building differently.
You'll be guided through:
An introduction to Tipping Point East, how it came about and what it's working towards
The work of our three founding organisations: RESOLVE Collective, Yes Make and Material Cultures
A walk around the site's three work areas: the Material Store, Material Yard and Material Library
Time for questions
Along the way you'll get a feel for:
How the site is governed, funded and run in partnership
How materials move through the site, from reclamation to reuse
How reuse and bio-based materials shape design decisions
What material justice means in practice
Tours run for up to 90 minutes and are free to attend as part of Open House 2026.
