In 2022, local skaters started cleaning up a derelict Tottenham underpass and turning it into a community-built, covered DIY skatepark. Since then, it has been transformed into a free space for skaters, BMXers, roller skaters and anyone else on wheels. As a community of communities, we continue to bring people together to share skills and collaborate creatively, as well as skate.

On September 20th, Downside celebrates 3 years of community, creativity and skateboarding. Come explore our unique DIY space, built by skaters for skaters in an underused Tottenham site. Ride our new ramps, experience music through our DIY sound system and discover London’s inclusive covered DIY skate spot. Everyone is welcome! Take part in the interactive tour and learn more about this unique space and the community of communities that build it.
