Blackhorse Workshop is a social enterprise dedicated to making, offering easy access to a fully equipped wood and metal workshop that’s open to all.
We strive to be always inclusive and welcoming, championing the power of making to improve wellbeing and bring people together. We offer courses, bookable workbenches and supported sessions led by expert technicians, to help you get started; and our local creative and young person's programmes explore new ways to discover making.
Blackhorse Workshop was initiated by Assemble and received start up funding from the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund, London Borough of Waltham Forest and was match funded by Create London.
All workshops taking place will be beginner-friendly, though will use some tools and equipment, so we recommend sturdy shoes/boots and jeans or similar.
