About

History

Lambeth Town Hall, designed by architects Septimus Warwick and Austen Hall, opened on 29 April 1908. It is an impressive example of the Edwardian Baroque style of civic architecture. Austen Hall also designed the elegant 1930s Assembly Hall.

As well as being the democratic heart of the Borough, the Town Hall also contains Lambeth's Registrar's Office and has a range of impressive historic Event Spaces for hire, including the Mayor's Heritage Suites, Suite 16, The Circular Landing, the Council Chamber, and the Assembly Hall.
