About

Genius loci. The history of preservation

We are pleased to invite you to a rare tour of MERCHANT TAYLORS' ALMSHOUSES - a unique residential complex usually closed to visitors. This historic site has recently undergone careful restoration. You will see how architecture spanning two centuries remains relevant and appealing to residents to this day.
This is an opportunity to witness how thoughtful renovation preserves heritage while ensuring modern comfort.

The tour will be led by an architect Tamara Muradova (www.archiproba.com) and resident of the building.
