Liverpool Street
Intermission is on the 1st floor accessible by a narrow staircase. Threadneedle Street has recently been semi-pedestrianised.
There is a 'hidden gem' aspect to Intermission - despite being in the heart of the City, in one of its most prestigious, historic buildings.
With bold ambitions to support the reinvention of the City of London as more than an office and heritage destination, ‘RE-PLACE’ explores a series of sites as templates for what could be imagined. Misha Stefan’s ‘creative laboratory’ is forging a new way forward, proposing a timeless aesthetic that fosters a new blueprint for the urban landscape and a new approach to development, offering tangible amenity for the community.
Misha Stefan’s three-dimensional artworks can be described as “templates from a parallel world”. The ‘soft modernist’ structures represent his approach for utilising nature-inspired design biomimicry to recalibrate our connection with the world around us.
INTERMISSION is tucked inside the City's Royal Exchange, on the first floor of a duplex unit.. The showspace also sells a selection of rare visual publications, catalogues and other print ephemera.
