Temple Bar is a 350 year old gateway to the City of London, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. It formerly stood in Fleet Street, and is the last surviving gateway to the City of London. This beautiful structure has a fascinating history, which will be revealed to visitors.

London's main tourist information centre is clad in a specially manufactured system of 220 pre-finished stainless steel panels. The subtly reflective surface provides a striking counterpoint to St Paul's.

17C livery hall with courtroom and garden. Oak panelling and stained glass windows. Undamaged in WWII. Recently refurbished new rooms and air-cooling within, including a new lift for step-free access into the Hall. Selected items from the archives on display. Book binding exhibition in the Hall.

Robert Mylne, 1673

12C church. During the Great Fire of 1666 the church building escaped total destruction, and was restored. Christopher Wren was eventually called in to rebuild St Vedast, completing the work in October 1673.

Barts Pathology Museum, based at St Bartholomew's Hospital, houses around 5,000 medical specimens on display over 3 mezzanine levels. This Grade II Listed building is in use by students of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at QMUL and as such is very infrequently open to the public. Specimens include the skull of John Bellingham, examples of unusual diseases, and early surgical intervention.

The sixth livery hall to be built on a site owned by the Company since 1501. The 1958 building stands on part of 1854 hall largely destroyed in WWII. East wall recently refaced. Completely refurbished and remodelled internally 2006/7.

Buckley Gray Yeoman, 2022

A courtyard building with some of the best-preserved 17C livery hall interiors. Built on the site of the Blackfriars Priory and replacing the original hall burned down in 1666. Courtyard refurbished in 2017.

The Grade I listed North Wing at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in the City of London houses two of England’s most important interiors, the Great Hall, and the Hogarth Stair with its large paintings by William Hogarth. The hospital was designed by architect James Gibbs and construction of the North Wing was completed in 1732.
