Lee Valley VeloPark, at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, is renowned for hosting major sporting events. It’s where Team GB, including famous cyclists like Sir Chris Hoy MBE, Dame Laura Kenny DBE, and Sir Jason Kenny CBE made history. With seating for 5,500 overlooking the velodrome, we’re the only place in the UK, where you can do four Olympic cycling disciplines in one location.

Step into the heart of Olympic sporting excellence at the Lee Valley VeloPark Open House Weekend! Whether you're a lifelong cycling fan, a curious local, or a family looking for an exciting day out, this is your chance to explore one of the UK’s most iconic sports venues – completely free.
Located on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London, Lee Valley VeloPark is where history was made during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Now, 13 years on the venue has become a hub for those wanting to experience the world of cycling for themselves. With 4 Olympic disciplines available for members of the public to try - the legacy of 2012 continues to flourish here.
Visitors can enter the world-famous velodrome, often called the “Pringle” for its unique hyperbolic paraboloid architectural design, and see what the elite athletes trained and raced on, at the time, the fastest track in the world.
Watch live training and experience sessions and even try out the Road Circuit or MTB trails for yourself in Pay and Ride sessions; no previous experience required! If space is available, you may even be able to book onto a Velodrome session as well. Friendly staff and professional coaches will be on hand to guide you through each activity, ensuring a fun and safe experience for all ages and skill levels.
In addition to cycling fun, enjoy what is available from the 42 Degrees Café, located on the Concourse level of the Arena; it gets it's name from the steepest point of the Velodrome turns.
The VeloPark is a celebration of sport, community, and the legacy of the Games; offering something for everyone.
Don't miss your chance to experience the energy, excitement, and inspiration of Lee Valley VeloPark.
