During the festival, Lorenzo Zandri’s studio transforms into an immersive environment that bridges the gap between architectural theory and photographic practice. Eschewing traditional construction to focus on the 'process of the image’, Zandri will present an analytical overview of his practice and research – where photography serves as a tool for urban narrative rather than mere documentation.

Trained as an architect between Rome and Paris, Lorenzo Zandri chose to dedicate himself completely to photography and the process of the image in architecture — deciding not to build things, but images. His work oscillates between documentation and artistic expression, using photography to not only capture the built environment but also to evoke meaning, atmosphere, and cultural references. His approach is deeply rooted in visual storytelling, drawing on historical art imagery and analogies that enrich the narrative of space.
