About

Borough Yards: the future of mixed-use neighbourhoods

Cool, curated and current: Borough Yards and the future of mixed-use neighbourhoods

This event combines a discussion with a guided walk exploring the history and ongoing evolution of Borough Yards, and how the site has been shaped through independent businesses, public space, cultural programming and experimentation.

Featuring a panel of independent tenants, founders and on-site contributors, the conversation will reflect on how culture and activity shape experience, and how the site continues to grow through new uses.

The discussion will be followed by a short walking tour of Borough Yards. Along the route, speakers will point to examples of pop-ups and creative installations, offering a closer look at how different audiences move through and engage with the area.

Through this event, participants can learn more about - and experience - Borough Yards as an active public space and somewhere where there is always something new to encounter.
