30 Dean Street, Soho sits in one of Soho’s oldest streets, with Dean Street itself laid out in the late 17th century as the area was developed from open fields into a fashionable London neighbourhood. By the early 18th century, Soho had become home to a diverse mix of aristocrats, merchants, immigrants, artists and craftsmen, giving Dean Street its long-standing reputation as a creative and cosmopolitan quarter.
Like much of Dean Street, the property has seen numerous changes of use over the decades, reflecting Soho's evolution from a district of workshops and specialist traders into one centred on hospitality, entertainment, nightlife and the creative industries. Today, 30 Dean Street operates as an events, music and performance venue, continuing the street's long association with culture and entertainment.

A Grade 2 listed former Territorial Army Drill Hall featuring restored elements of the original 1882 design. It has a triple height central hall with the restored wrought iron balconies and roofing. Notable Neo-Georgian design brickwork. It is also unique in being the last ever military drill hall built in the UK.
