Muphoria Gallery based on Berwick Street, Soho, is London's first music art gallery, exhibiting pop art and musical instruments created by UK artists. We will be hosting a walking tour around the musically important buildings of Soho.

Discover Soho in the 1700s and 1800s - a place of bawdy houses, body snatchers and benevolent doctors who rubbed along together in alleyways and elegant townhouses. Soho’s narrow streets have been blighted by cholera and seen some of the country’s first specialist hospitals. Many of its buildings escaped the bombing of WWll and at least in part can be seen today.

Ever since the United States gained independence, Americans have been showing up again and again. This tour is about their influence on Britain from before the Revolutionary War to American heiresses marrying for titles to WWII to today.

On this journey into Soho and St Giles, I want to show the different ways London’s streets are alive with love in all its varied forms. Buildings are often said to be sympathetic or out of place, in keeping or a departure from their surroundings. This tour will explore how the built environment reflects the relationships we conduct with each other.

Three centuries of Quakers in Westminster. Opened in 1883, with front doors added in the 1920s. It was bomb-damaged in 1941 and rebuilt in 1956. Grade II listed registered place of worship, it contains a peaceful meeting room and 1950s wood panelling and fittings.
